Aber Card applications may be rejected because:

  • The photo you uploaded is not suitable - please see our guidelines on choosing a suitable photo
  • You are not eligible for a free replacement Aber Card as your appearance has not changed significantly from your existing photo. If you would still like to replace your Aber Card please go to https://abercard.aber.ac.uk/ and choose 'I want to change my photo'  from the drop down list. You will then be prompted to upload your new photo and make payment.
  • You have not paid the replacement cost for a lost card. If you would like to apply and pay for a lost Aber Card please go to https://abercard.aber.ac.uk/ and choose 'I've lost my card' from the drop down list and click 'OK' . Click on  'Add Payment' and then view the contents of your basket . Click 'Make Payment' and enter your Credit/Debit Card details. Once online payment has been processed, you will be able to collect your card from Hugh Owen Library.
