Does the Library charge fines?

Yes, for the following reasons;

  • If you do not return an item that has been requested by another user you will be blocked from borrowing any other items until it has been returned. Once the item is 14 days overdue, it will be regarded as Lost and you will be invoiced the full cost of a replacement.
  • If you do not return your loans when your library account ends, you will be invoiced the full cost of a replacement.
  • If you do not return your loans or contact us when they have reached the maximum loan period they will be regarded as Lost and you will be invoiced the full cost of a replacement.  
  • If you are unable to return your item by the date and time due, please contact us
